The DSM[tm] has been on tenterhooks since we first saw the swans had built a nest and has been counting down the days. For the last week, she’s had me armed with a camera. Well her perseverance has finally paid off and here are the signets in all their newborn glory. Mama-swan very kindly stood up to allow us a decent view of the 5 hatchlings and the one remaining egg. My only concern is how she -the DSM[tm]- will cope with the inevitable loss, as last year only one made it to adulthood, thus her anxiety has not abated.
